Dan, a client from New York, dreamed of exchanging the fast pace of city life for the slower rhythm of Symi. Our office undertook the architectural design, complete restoration and construction of his 19th-century house on Kali Strata, transforming the former ground-floor shop into a studio and the first floor into an independent residence. Restored using traditional methods, the house reflects Dan's personal aesthetic through interiors he designed himself, furnished with pieces from a collection gathered over a lifetime.
